Temple Rituals: Pandit Ji
These rituals bring peace. These rituals are done six times a day by Dikshitar priests. They use Vedic chants and offerings, some connected to the seven chakras (Behind Every Temple, 2023). Here’s what I experienced:
- Morning Awakening (7 AM): I joined the padukas’ procession with drums and chants, followed by cow worship.
- First Main Puja (8:30 AM): Priests poured milk on the crystal lingam and offered sweets. Pandit Ji said it sparks creativity. I felt my stress reduced.
- Midday Puja (10–11:30 AM): I focused on the ruby Nataraja, with lamps and hymns. It made me feel more confident and strong in voice.
- Evening Puja (6 PM): The dusk lamp ceremony was about love. I clapped with the people and felt connected to everyone.
- Night Puja (8 PM): The Chidambara Rahasyam showed empty space. It helped me feel my intuition grow. It was magical.
- Ardha Jaama Puja (10 PM): The final ritual, with padukas returning, felt like all the gods were present around me. I feel more calm.
These rituals changed me. My stress dropped from 8/10 to 2/10 in two weeks. I slept better and faced work with new energy.
